Quiz Maker Instructions

These instructions are for the public quiz maker found at at http://www.searchlit.org/quizmaker.
At the first screen, Make a new quiz online, you are asked to supply the following personal information:
| Field Name | Field Details | Optional, but encouraged |
| Share your info? | You can choose to share your information or not |
| Your Name | This will help your students find your quiz |
| Your Email | E-mail used only by webmaster |
| School Name | Optional, but requested |
| City, State | Optional, but requested |
| Your Position | Are you a teacher or do you have another position? |
| Field Name | Field Details |
| Quiz Name | Quiz name is not necessarily the title of the eText |
| Objectives | What is the purpose of the quiz question |
| Grades | grade level range |
| Jump ID | The Jump ID is found at the bottom of the text record pages. For example > N190 |
| By entering the Jump ID, the link to the text record page will be automatic |
| Title Info | Label the link generated from the Jump ID |
| Related Link Name | Need an additional link for the quiz? Enter the name here |
| Related Link URL | Enter the URL for the extra link here |
When all of the fields have been entered correctly, click the continue button. You will see a messsage stating "Success. Your quiz has been added to the database." Now it is time add questions to the quiz.
